Foreign Visitors

Cheryl Morgan
You know her from many a Finncon: The international woman of mystery Cheryl Morgan is an active fandom figure who has, among other things, received a Hugo award for best fanzine and best fanwriting. Her current activities include the popular blog Cheryl’s Mewsings and being the non-fiction editor of Clarkesworld magazine.

Delia Sherman
This American fantasy author and editor also teaches writing sf and fantasy. Her novel The Porcelain Dove won the Mythopoeic Fantasy Award in 1994. She is one of the founding members of The Interstitial Arts Foundationin.

  • Juha-Pekka Koskinen, author whose latest novel Punainen talvi [Red Winter] was published in spring 2010.

  • Tiina Raevaara, author whose mystical short story collection En tunne sinua vierelläni [I Don't Feel You Beside Me] was published in spring 2010.
  • Petri Salin, author and audio drama writer whose Shakespeare short story collection Kolmaskymmenes kolmas simpanssi [The Thirty-Third Chimpanzee] is coming out in summer 2010.
  • Vesa Sisättö, critic, journalist, and author whose YA novel Matka Postimerkkien maahan [Journey to the Land of Postage Stamps] is coming out in fall 2010.
  • M.G. Soikkeli, critic and author whose fantasy novel Kuninkaantekijät [The Kingmakers] was published in spring 2010.
