On Friday, there will be a visit to the University of Jyväskylä Accelerator laboratory. You can see all three particle accelerators and learn about the research. Fits 25 persons. Sign up in advance to <firstname.lastname@example.org>.
The author Guests of Honour will sign their works at the convention at following times:
Ellen Kushner Sat 3 PM — 3.30 PM
Pat Cadigan Sun 1 PM — 1.30 PM
Sari Peltoniemi Sat 12 PM — 12.30 PM
The signing sessions will be held in the lobby at the publishers’ sales table.
The main building is open on Saturday from 10 AM to 6.30 PM, and on Sunday from 10 AM to 5.15 PM. The info desk will also be open during those hours.

For the first time in Finncon history, there will be bidding for organizing a Finncon. Two candidates, Helsinki and Tampere, announced they would like to host Finncon in 2012, and Espoo and Moon soon joined the candidates as well.
